Sending your child to a childcare setting is worrying enough as a mum when all you want is to be with them yourself, but it is even harder when your children need additional support. Both of my children have attended Grow Happy. My first son is a quiet boy who struggled to socialise and had his own way of doing things. Through careful monitoring and regular 1 to 1 time workers at Grow Happy noticed that he needed some additional support. They referred him to an additional needs specialist and he has gone on to be diagnosed with Autism far earlier than he ever would have been if they hadn’t noticed. It is very rare for children to receive such support so early and we will be forever grateful to Grow Happy for this early intervention.

My second child presented a different challenge. He started Grow Happy with a severe dairy allergy and they catered for his needs and dealt with my constant checking on him without a problem. He still isn’t talking and they referred him to a speech and language therapist and he is beginning to get the help he needs. I contacted the professionals myself but kept hitting dead ends. Grow Happy helped and got involved in fighting my sons corner which has meant that we are further on than we would have been.

As you can see, nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Grow Happy. Not only are my sons well looked after, they are thriving at this setting. They love attending and go in with a smile and I am regularly kept informed of their progress.

As a teacher I am the kind of mum you avoid at parents meetings as I know the age related expectations for my children. Grow Happy don’t shrink back in this way. They are complete professionals who know their craft. They know where the children should be upto at each stage and how to get there.

I don’t worry about leaving my children in their care and have recommended and do recommend them to many of my colleagues at work.

Thank you to all at Grow Happy for all that you continue to do for my children.
