Nursery Rooms Designed for Every Stage

Explore our three rooms for babies, toddlers and preschool children, each with toys, activities and space to suit their age, interests and growing independence.

Cocoon Room

Baby Care for Ages 3–24 Months

The Cocoon Room is designed especially for our youngest children, providing a calm and welcoming environment where babies can settle, explore and begin their early development.

The room includes a wide range of age-appropriate toys and resources, including heuristic play baskets that encourage children to discover different textures, shapes and materials through sensory exploration.

Babies also have access to a dedicated outdoor area, allowing them to move between indoor and outdoor play, with gentle crawl ramps helping them explore safely and independently.

With a low adult-to-child ratio of 1:3, our team can provide plenty of individual attention and build strong, supportive relationships with each child

Our Caterpillar Room

Toddler Care for Ages 18–36 Months

The Caterpillar Room is a bright, welcoming space designed for toddlers at a stage of rapid development, growing curiosity and increasing independence. At this stage, we place a strong focus on the three prime areas of learning: personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, and physical development. Through stories, songs, conversation, movement and hands-on activities, children are encouraged to build confidence, develop their communication skills and become increasingly independent. Our team provides a balance of structured activities and child-led play, giving children opportunities to make choices, explore their interests and develop at their own pace. Strong key-person relationships also help children feel secure, supported and confident throughout their time in the room.

Making Choices

Simple choices help toddlers build confidence and independence.

Songs, stories and chats support speech and communication.

Movement and play help develop balance and coordination.

Our Butterfly Room

Preschool Care for Ages 30 Months–5 Years

The Butterfly Room is our spacious preschool environment, designed to support growing independence, imagination and preparation for school.

Because this age group covers a wide range of development, we use a two-stage learning approach. Younger preschool children are given time to build confidence and independence, while older children are gradually introduced to more structured learning and school-readiness activities.

Learning remains rooted in play and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, with children encouraged to communicate, solve problems, build friendships and develop their own ideas.

Children also benefit from continuity of care and a staff-to-child ratio of 1:8 in the final preschool year, helping our team continue to provide individual support as they prepare for the transition to school.

Everyday Independence

Children are encouraged to manage small tasks for themselves.

Learning Through Play

Imaginative play helps children explore ideas and solve problems.

Playing Together

Shared activities help children take turns, listen and cooperate.
