How We Grow
Key Person
Each child is assigned a key worker, who acts as the child’s main carer and has a responsibility for a small group of children, to help them feel safe and secure.
The key person will get to know your child, in order to ensure their full potential is reached.
Framework
Your child will be encouraged to learn new things and develop new and existing skills, building on the blocks of the early years foundation stage curriculum (EYFS).
The EYFS has 7 areas of learning, these are implemented into our weekly planning.
Learning Journal
You will receive regular updates via our online learning journal app throughout the day, on your child’s development. This gives parents the chance to add comments and share their findings on their child’s progress.
We also give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress at our parents’ evenings.
Our Morning, Evening and Holiday Kids Clubs

Breakfast Club
We understand that mornings can be a bit hectic. To make life easier, we offer a Breakfast Club, which gives you that extra bit of time to get to work and the reassurance that your child will arrive at school on time.

After school Club
We collect your children from a number of primary schools, such as Gorse Hall Primary, Trinity Primary and Slayhill Infants & Juniors and keep them entertained until 6:30pm, which also includes a full cooked tea.

Holiday Club
We understand that unfortunately your job does not have half terms and teacher training days. This has proved problematic for most parents in the past. Luckily, for the, we created a Holiday Club; the finest solution to combating boredom.

St. Peters Club
Our clubs are an excellent opportunity to improve your child’s social and academic development, as they are in receipt of extra support and are able to associate learning with fun, play and making new friends.

Training & Awards
We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Grow Happy nursery and that our contribution to the community has been officially recognised on a number of occasions through receiving and being nominated for a variety of awards.
Free Funded Hours
Grow Happy nursery offer free funded hours to all eligible 2, 3 & 4 year old’s, to support this we have created a very flexible and competitive approach which we believe will apply to many families.
