Welcome To Our Parent's Area
Grow Happy Childcare proudly offers full-day nursery services and wrap-around care for local nursery schools. Our nursery environment is designed to foster your child's growth and development in a nurturing and child-centred setting. Our dedicated staff members bring a wealth of experience and qualifications to their roles, including NVQ 2 & 3 certifications in childcare. Personally, I hold a Foundation degree in Early Years Childcare and a BA Hons in Early Years and Childcare. All staff members are certified in First Aid and Food Hygiene, and we prioritise ongoing training and skill development to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Learning Journal
At Grow Happy Childcare, we use an app called ‘Daily Connect’. All parents will receive regular updates via the app on what their child has been up to throughout their day. This could be activities they have participated in, what they have eaten or a photo of your child enjoying play.
We also use an app called ‘Tapestry’ which logs all your child’s observations in line with the EYFS.
We also allow the parents to discuss their child’s progress and development at our parents' evenings.
Our friendly and approachable management team are available to answer any questions you may have.

Outside Learning and Local Adventures

At Grow Happy Childcare, we believe that outdoor play is an essential part of every child’s development. Our nursery offers a bright and engaging outdoor space where children are encouraged to explore, play, and learn through nature and movement. The area is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity and confidence while supporting physical development and wellbeing.
Children have the opportunity to care for their own herbs and flowers in our dedicated growing beds, learning about sustainability and healthy eating. These home-grown ingredients are then used by our in-house chef to create delicious, nutritious meals, giving children a real sense of pride and connection to what they eat.
Beyond our nursery garden, we regularly enjoy outings into the local community. From sensory visits to the library and fun at the local park, to educational trips to the fire station and war memorial, our outings help children connect with the world around them. We also explore nearby shops and supermarkets as part of topic-based learning, turning everyday environments into exciting educational opportunities.
Parking and Drop-Off Information
Please note that Grow Happy Childcare
does not have on-site parking facilities. We kindly ask parents and carers to use nearby residential roads for drop-offs and collections, being mindful of our neighbours and local parking restrictions.
We also provide secure
buggy storage at the nursery to support families arriving on foot. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep arrival and departure times safe and smooth for everyone.
Special Needs Statement
We are aware that some children have special educational needs and/or physical disabilities that require particular support and assistance. We are committed to taking appropriate action to make sure that all children are able to access our services, made to feel welcome, and that our activities promote their welfare and development.
We are committed to the integration of all children in our care. We believe that children with any special needs or disabilities have a right to play, learn and be able to develop to their full potential alongside other children. Whenever possible, children with special needs or disabilities will have access to the same facilities, activities and play opportunities as their peers. Everybody stands to gain if all children are allowed to share the same opportunities and are helped to overcome any disadvantages they may face.
We believe that by identifying individual needs and taking proactive steps alongside parents and other statutory professionals or agencies, all children should be able to play a full, active and equal part in the club’s activities.
We have a SEND registered member of staff who will be responsible for children with special needs or disabilities. They have been trained to deal with all aspects of the Special Needs policy.
